Global Ties Detroit is excited to host six (6) musicians from Cambodia, Finland, Indonesia, Nepal, South Africa and Uganda participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program American Music and the Economy. This program was created for participants to examine how the American music industry drives economic growth, tourism, and job creation. They also will be exploring trends in music financing, distribution, management, operations, promotion, and marketing while also understanding the role that intellectual property rights (IPR) and licensing agreements play in creating a healthy business environment for musicians and investors.
