This fall Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming twelve (12) delegates from Benin, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Building Pathways to Leadership. The objective of this program is to empower participants to develop or strengthen women’s mentoring and leadership initiatives in their professional fields. These fellows will be examining trends in leadership training, academic programs, public-private partnerships, corporate initiatives, and other mechanisms through which women are encouraged to pursue leadership roles.
