In collaboration with Meridian International Center, the U.S. Department of State is sponsoring a building tour for Russian journalists who are living in exile outside of Russia. This program is designed to allow these journalists to explore resources and build connections to establish independent media operations outside of Russia. They also will be working to maintain safe and fact-based reporting on the war in Ukraine. During their time in the U.S. these journalists will be discussing topics including countering disinformation, war reporting, online safety training, and reporting under the threat of authoritarianism.
