Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming 12 teachers and educational professionals from Cambodia, Cameroon, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan participating in the TESOL exchange program. During their stay this group will be exploring ways to teach social emotional learning skills to youth, staff, and families to benefit the well-being of the community while ensuring that mental health is a top priority. They will have the opportunity to visit elementary schools, high schools, colleges, and organizations,. They also will attend and participate in cultural outings.
