Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming three (3) fellows participating in the U.S. Department of State sponsored Young SouthEast Asian Leadership Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP). These three fellows are mid-level professionals (between the ages of 25-35) from Malaysia and Myanmar who were chosen through a highly competitive merit-based selection process. YSEALI PFP is a dual exchange program that promotes mutual understanding, enhances leadership and professional skills, and builds lasting and sustainable relationships between emerging leaders in Southeast Asia and the United States. These fellows will be focusing on improving their skills in civic engagement, economic empowerment, governance and society, and sustainable development and the environment.
