This May Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming six (6) Arab Israeli's examining the underlying conditions that lead to criminal activity and emerging solutions and initiatives designed to address them. During their visit in Detroit these delegates will be meeting with local Detroit organizations aiming to eradicate violence in urban areas, participate in discussions with law enforcement to understand ways that they gain community trust and youth engagement, and explore approaches to advance rights and advocate for reforms. They also will have a chance to learn more about the culture of metro-Detroit.
