Counterterrorism and Border Security
Tajikistan
From June 23–27, 2026, Global Ties Detroit will host participants in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project, Counterterrorism and Border Security, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by CRDF Global. Counterterrorism and security professionals from Tajikistan will engage with U.S. counterparts to explore strategies for preventing violent extremism, strengthening border security, and building community resilience against radicalization.
