Global Ties Detroit is proud to welcome a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project, Combating Transnational Crime, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by Meridian International Center. From June 16–20, 2026, legal and law enforcement professionals will engage with U.S. counterparts to discuss strategies for addressing transnational crime, strengthening international cooperation, and examining the American criminal justice system.
