Global Ties Detroit is excited to be welcoming fifteen (15) youth and workforce development experts in nonprofit, governmental, entrepreneurship, and education sectors from Angola, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Cote d'lvoire, Djibouti, Eswatini, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe . These delegates will be participating in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) American Councils for International Education program Empowering Youth through Workforce Development. During their stay they will be examining the role vocational education plays in providing Americans with training and skills tailored to fit targeted employment needs.
