Open World COIL Economic Development

The Open World Program is a nonpartisan, U.S. Congress–funded initiative sponsored by COIL that connects emerging international leaders with U.S. counterparts through professional and cultural exchange. Delegates participate in meetings and stay with volunteer host families in Metro Detroit to experience American life firsthand. From February 20–28, Global Ties Detroit will host six English-speaking emerging leaders from Hungary for an exchange focused on economic development, including public-private partnerships, entrepreneurship, foreign investment, and innovation, while engaging with leaders across Metro Detroit.
