Promoting Religious Freedom
Albania, Austria, Bahrain, Bolivia, Estonia, Finland, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Thailand, and Uzbekistan
From July 31st - August 6th, Global Ties Detroit will welcome a Multi Regional Project (MRP) International Visitor Leadership Program of ten (10) faith leaders, government officials, and educators from various countries including Albania, Austria, Bahrain, Bolivia, Estonia, Finland, Saudi Arabia, Solomon Islands, Thailand, and Uzbekistan. With a project theme of Promoting Religious Freedom, the delegates will meet with local faith-based, community, and governmental resources to understand best strategies for combatting religious discrimination at the state and local level, and practices for building and organizing interfaith coalitions.
