Global Ties Detroit is excited to be welcoming a cohort of fellows this September on the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP), a Department of State program designed to promote mutual understanding, enhance Fellows’ leadership and professional skills, and build lasting and sustainable partnerships between emerging leaders in Southeast Asia and the United States. In Metro Detroit, fivce YSEALI fellows from Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam will have month-long fellowships at local businesses and organizations, learn about US professional culture, network with their local counterparts, and have the opportunity to explore SE Michigan.
