The Professional Fellows Program for the Middle East and North Africa is a two way exchange program that is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. This program is designed to promote mutual understanding, enhance leadership and professional skills, and build lasting, sustainable partnerships between mid-level emerging leaders committed to strengthening their communities through social entrepreneurship and workforce development. This year Global Ties Detroit will be welcoming eleven (11) fellows from Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia. These 11 fellows will be participating in a four-week fellowship program where they will be placed at different organizations and businesses across metro Detroit.
