GTD will host 21 educators and administrators participating in the IVLP program, The American Language: English Language Education – A Multi-Regional Project, from April 20th to April 24th. Representing countries including Algeria, Bangladesh, Benin, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Ecuador, France, Georgia, Hungary, Iraq, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, participants will engage with American counterparts to explore instructional curricula, emerging trends, and the cultural richness of the United States. Throughout the program, they will discuss shared challenges, observe K–12 classrooms, exchange ideas on pedagogy and policy, and deepen their understanding of the U.S. as a context for English-language education.
