Global Ties Detroit Announces 2020 Virtual Annual Dinner Presented by DTE Energy

Global Ties Detroit takes its Annual Dinner virtual with an hour-long event celebrating local and international leaders, diplomacy in Detroit, and the power of international connections.
Presented by DTE Energy, Global Ties Detroit's Annual Dinner is a celebration of Diplomacy in Detroit. With its iconic venues, engaging presenters, and unique networking opportunities, our signature event brings together international leaders and globally-minded Detroiters for a night of fine food and fascinating conversations. While we can't meet face-to-face this year, we are looking forward to the 2020 Virtual Annual Dinner, an amazing event of dynamic speakers, gourmet meals, and cross-cultural exchange.
The program features:
- Keynote Speaker: DTE President & CEO Jerry Norcia: Local and International Connections - Making Our Community Stronger
- Ambassador John Rakolta Jr.: U.S. Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates
- Young People Travel Global Edge - Detroit Youth Ambassadors and International Scholars
- State Department International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni
The 2020 Virtual Annual Dinner is to attend, donations are appreciated. A meal delivery option is available for additional cost. Proceeds from the event support Global Ties Detroit international exchange programs and the YPT Global Edge Detroit youth ambassador program.
