Global Ties Detroit Welcomes Colin Seals to the Board of Directors!

Global Ties Detroit is pleased to announce the addition of Colin Seals, Government Affairs Director at Bollinger Motors, to our Board of Directors. Colin Seals brings a wealth of experience in economic development and global affairs. Before joining Bollinger Motors, he served as Director of Economic Development at Public Sector Consultants, a firm specializing in research, evaluation, strategic planning, and energy and environmental policy. He also has a distinguished background as a U.S. diplomat, having worked in various U.S. embassies abroad.
Colin’s extensive experience as a U.S. diplomat involved selecting international delegations for organizations like Global Ties Detroit, giving him valuable insight into the world of diplomacy. He is eager to apply this expertise to our organization.
“My personal and professional values align closely with the mission of Global Ties Detroit. As a former U.S. diplomat and an automotive foreign service kid long before that, I am a strong believer in the importance of people-to-people ties across countries and cultures,” said Seals.
Colin’s passion for fostering international connections and his previous involvement with Global Ties Detroit make him an excellent addition to our Board of Directors. He has already made significant contributions by chairing our Government Outreach Committee.
“I’ve been fortunate to chair our Government Outreach Committee for the past several months, which has allowed me to engage with the talented team at Global Ties Detroit. It’s an honor to discuss our mission of connecting international professionals and emerging leaders with their Detroit counterparts to build relationships that can address global challenges,” Seals added.
