Global Ties Detroit Welcomes Jackie Robinson to Board of Directors!

Global Ties Detroit is delighted to announce the appointment of Jackie Robinson to our Board of Directors. With extensive leadership experience in strategic operations, data-driven innovation, and community engagement, Jackie is a dynamic addition to our governing board as we continue to strengthen Detroit’s global connections through international exchange and collaboration.
As Senior Vice President of Solutions at Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3), Jackie leads the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the company’s solutions business. Her work focuses on delivering high-quality results while fostering innovation and organizational success. Prior to joining S3, Jackie held key leadership roles at DTE Energy, where she led major initiatives to enhance outage communications, improve the customer experience, and elevate operational performance through data analytics and machine learning.
Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her technical expertise, paired with her proven leadership in developing people and processes, reflects the forward-thinking spirit that defines Global Ties Detroit.
When asked what inspired her to join the organization, Jackie shared:
“I’m passionate about building bridges—whether through technology, teamwork, or cultural exchange. Global Ties Detroit embodies that same mission of connection. I’m excited to help expand opportunities that bring Detroiters and international leaders together to share ideas and learn from one another.”
Jackie looks forward to contributing her strategic insight and strong professional network to advance Global Ties Detroit’s programs. “I’m eager to help increase awareness of the incredible work Global Ties does,” she said. “There’s so much potential to engage more businesses and community leaders in this important mission.”
While Jackie is just beginning her journey with Global Ties Detroit, she shared that attending the Annual Dinner was already a memorable experience:
“The energy in the room was inspiring. I met so many talented, passionate people who care deeply about Detroit and its place in the world. It reaffirmed my excitement to be part of this amazing organization.”
As a proud Detroiter and lifelong advocate for innovation and inclusion, Jackie is excited to help shape the future of Global Ties Detroit.
